Getting the Most Out of CERVIDIL® (dinoprostone 10mg) Through Proper Administration:  A Hands-on training

Proper administration may help increase efficacy.  In this session, attendees will learn essential elements needed to ensure proper administration of CERVIDIL.  Attendees will also practice insertion and removal of CERVIDIL using the CERVIDIL training kit which consists of placebo inserts and an anatomical model.  After the training, attendees will be allowed to take the training kit back to their hospital to share their learnings with colleagues.

MythBusters: Understanding Wireless Patch EFM

The discussion, led by Lisa G. Allen, RN, BSN and Lisa Stout, RNC-OB, BSN, both clinical experts from GE HealthCare, will cover wireless abdominal fetal ECG, maternal ECG, uterine EMG Patch monitoring and how it works.  They will dispel common misconceptions and set meaningful expectations when monitoring using wireless patch EFM.  In addition, you will gain knowledge on best practices while using the technology in fetal heart rate troubleshooting and discuss appropriate Patch application techniques to help you maximize the use of this technology.
